I am drawn to Light and Dark and strong contrasts. Life is full of contrasts on every level and I like the light shining through the darkness. The light is the main focus in my creations. Most of my subjects are nature related but can be close-ups, landscape and animals. They will all tell a story of growth, strength and movement in a forward direction.
Being able to express myself through colours and shapes what I cannot express with words. It makes me feel whole. Being creative is good for the soul.
I am an artist who like creating contrast using paint, pastel and graphite.
I paint in my studio in Yarpole and am happy to take commissions. In fact I thrive on a challenge. As well as painting I will also take commissions for pencil portraits. See the website for examples.
