Details
I create one off “mini wearable sculptures” by recycling precious metals and stones. I love to bring new life to old pieces of jewellery hidden away in drawers, re-modelling them into new modern heirlooms, but most importantly, turning them into something that will again be worn and enjoyed.
Being an artist is just something that is a part of me. I’ve always been an artist for as long as I can remember and don’t think I could ever be anything else!
I’m an Ethical Designer/Goldsmith
I’m a remodelling specialist, turning old and unworn jewellery into new pieces that can be worn and enjoyed again. Many of my commissions are also for bespoke wedding, engagement and eternity rings.
I run workshops for couples to make their own wedding or engagement rings, small group jewellery making workshops/experience days and offer private tuition.
I have a degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing from Birmingham School of Jewellery, but most of my technical skills have been learned afterwards and refined over many years of practice.
I am also a fully qualified teacher of secondary (KS4/5) Design and Technology.
