Details
My drawings and paintings centre on places special to people’s memories. I often work on a commission basis and like to produce quite detailed work in pen & ink and watercolour. I believe an original painting is a wonderful way to remember your home, a local church, favourite pub, holiday location public building or local landmark.
I also make paintings of buildings and landscapes which are available as originals, giclee prints and greetings cards.
I like to achieve a detailed representation, particularly of buildings, by presenting an accurate record of the architecture. For me, the application of watercolour with pencil, ink and gouache lends itself to this careful approach.
To me, being an artist means having the ability to create pictures for others to enjoy, especially those who ask me to provide them with something unique and special to them.
I'm a watercolour artist, primarily buildings and landscape
