How would you describe the work you do and why?:
Highly detailed and botanically accurate depictions of plants. For the love of the natural world.
For you what does being an artist mean?:
I make my paintings from my passion for plants and enjoy the observation , research and scientific study of my subjects. the process is totally absorbing.
Describe what you call yourself/your practice?:
Botanical artist, working in water colour.
Your practice & activities include e.g workshops, teaching:
I am a member of the Association of Botanical Artists, The Gloucester Society for Botanical Illusrators and Spetchley Park Florilegium.

I gained a Diploma from The Society of Botanical Artists with distinction in 2023
