Herefordshire Art and Craft Society (HACS) is a well established community of artists and craftspeople, founded in 1922. Our members include creatives who are beginners, hobbyists, amateurs, semi-professionals, professionals and art historians.
We are pleased to be exhibiting again for h-Art this year at The Green Dragon Hotel, situated in the heart of Hereford. The hotel has a history dating back over 900 years, originally known as The White Lyon once owned by the Bishops of Hereford. The hotel was popular with pilgrims visiting the shrines of St Ethelbert and St Thomas Cantilupe at Hereford Cathedral, located just a short walk from the hotel.
24 members of HACS will be exhibiting at The Green Dragon Hotel during h-Art this year, with a large array of artworks on display including paintings, ceramics, jewellery and textiles. Alongside the artwork, there will also be prints and cards available to buy. The artists themselves will be stewarding the exhibition on various days, so if you would like to meet and chat to them about their art you are very welcome to pop in and say hello!
There are refreshments available at The Green Dragon Hotel in their Garrick Lounge, or if you fancy something stronger then visit The Orange Bar which is open from 3pm every day.
