Eastnor Pottery

Description:

Eastnor Pottery & The Flying Potter is recognised as one of the country’s leading studios for pottery courses, classes and educational experiences.
h.Art presents the perfect opportunity to peruse and purchase contemporary ceramics made by the founders: Sarah Monk and Jon Williams.

Jon & Sarah established Eastnor Pottery in 1994. Originally, they needed studio space to make their ceramics and were offered a charming, redundant cottage on the Eastnor Castle Estate. As their reputation and practice grew, they expanded the premises, purchased more equipment and began to share their magical space with others.

Not only do the pair deliver engaging and memorable pottery experiences, they're also individual makers in their own right. Sarah Monk & Jon Williams ceramics have been exhibited widely and feature in private and public collections all over the world. They've taken part in important group shows and on more than one occasion, been the focus of a solo exhibition. Their individual styles are very different – chalk & cheese you might say, but what they do share is a passion and appreciation of all things pottery.
