The great things about St Mary's, people tell us, are the light and spacious interior, with generous space around the art, and the friendly welcome visitors receive. Also, of course, the delicious refreshments (coffee, tea, homemade cakes, soup and rolls at lunch time) and the chance for a sit down while you soak it all up ... while perhaps deciding that you really do want to buy that piece after all!
