Urchins Gallery

Urchins Gallery was established in April of 2023 by Tara Slater (TLSKiwi) and Julie Cannon (Watercolour Puddles) to showcase their work and have a space where local artisan makers can sell their work. Both Tara and Julie are mixed media artists with Tara working in print making, paint carving and acrylics and Julie in watercolours, gouache and pencil. In between the Christmas period and art trail events, Urchins hosts monthly exhibitions by local artists featuring both 2D and 3D work. Artisan sellers at Urchins include potters, ceramicists, fused glass makers and textiles.
