Eastnor Pottery

Welcome to Eastnor Pottery and the Flying Potter! Studio to contemporary potters Sarah Monk and Jon Williams. Providing pottery courses, classes and educational experiences for over 30 years.

Clay is an accessible and inclusive material. No matter of age or ability or how-ever slight the intervention, participants are always able to make their mark. We have shared our passion and enthusiasm for clay with thousands of children, young people and adults all over the West Midlands and beyond. The Flying Potter (mobile studio) offers Reggio Emilia inspired exploratory sessions for early years. Collaborative ‘whole-school’ installations, team-building events for business and organisations. If you visit us in our idyllic Herefordshire studio on the Eastnor Castle Estate we offer amazing potter's wheel experiences. Spend an hour and a half, a day or weekend learning how to make pots on the potter's wheel. Above all we want participants to enjoy themselves and have fun. We aim to provide a memorable experience filled with happy moments. The opportunity to get creative with clay is a valuable one and if we can make a positive contribution to a person’s well being or effect a positive change in the wider community – we consider it job well done.
