Brittany Davies is opening her studio in Monmouth town centre. Original paintings, prints, cards and homewares. Coffee shop on-site for hot drinks, cakes and lunches.

My work revolves around narrative architectural drawings; each drawing is a cross-section of a home of an invented character. Each character is based around an enthusiasm that has been exaggerated to create curious worlds - for example Jonathan the Meteorologist who is afraid to go outside so collects the weather inside, and has an entirely automated home (pedal-powered washing-up machine included!) Each piece starts off as a large illustration before being reduced to become prints, cards and homeware - to include as much detail as possible! Every print comes with the story of the inhabitant.
