Info
How do you describe your Gallery?:
A new contemporary space showing local, regional and national artists and makers, in a sensitively curated space along side an amazing small cafe.
Do you specialise in any particular artform or craft?:
No particular speciality, but seeking innovative ideas and approaches to contemporary art forms.
What's important to you when you choose whose work to exhibit and sell?:
I believe that creativity is an intrinsic human trait, and I am keen to see the hand of the maker and hear voice of the artist within the work. I have a very personal and specific aesthetic that I cannot describe in words, but I steer towards bold minimalism, although having said that, I also surprise myself with my choices.
What's coming up this year?:
We have a number of regional painters booked into the gallery, alongside national print makers and ceramicists.
Your notable exhibitions in the last few years:
We are a new gallery aspiring to showcase an innovative range of both 2D and 3D artists and makers, not necessarily motivated by commercial potential.
