How do you describe your Gallery?:
Trumpet Corner Gallery is inside a beautiful black and white house, with on-site Cafe all inside a stunning walled garden on the corner of the Trumpet crossroads of the A438 and the A417 / A4172. Hosting a wide variety of artwork by local artists and makers, all work is for sale.
Award-winning Artist / Sculptor Ed Elliott works from his inspiring rural sculpture studio on-site - located off the overflow carpark. Usually by appointment only, Ed annually opens up his creative space to visitors for the H.Art week.
Do you specialise in any particular artform or craft?:
We exhibit a variety of artwork by almost always local artists and makers, with occasion visiting artists showcasing their work.
Resident artist Ed Elliott has a growing international career, and his sculpture work is gaining an impressive momentum. Voted online in the Top 10 artists working in wood and voted in the Top 100 Sculptors to watch - Ed is someone to keep an eye on.
What's important to you when you choose whose work to exhibit and sell?:
It is always important to showcase local talent, as well as featuring the growing collection from our resident artist Ed Elliott. As a small independent, we offer an intimate window into the work of the selected artists featured in our humble gallery space. It's a lovely environment to experience artwork and the artists are often on-site during the H.Art week.
What's coming up this year?:
We have stunning new work from Hannah Day - Ceramics & Emma Marriage - Leather. The first showcase for GK Elliott - Writing & Illustration with a collection of his playful illustrations. Some mesmerizing kinetic Sculpture by Will Carr in the walled garden as well as exciting new work from resident artist Ed Elliott
