Lou Lothian Leintwardine

I am located in the middle of Leintwardine, with street parking available on the road outside my address and up towards Leintwardine Primary School. As well as welcoming you to look around my studio and at my recent work, we will be serving tea, coffee and delicious cakes for the duration of h Art with seating outside in our lovely garden. And there will be some seating undercover just in case the weather is just a little wet, or just a little too sunny! As for me, I make stoneware pottery, primarily on the wheel. I then use my handbuilding skills to alter some work to bring an added dimension to it. I am inspired by the land and weather that surrounds me now in Herefordshire and from my time in Scotland, but I am also influenced by my design background and enjoy incorporating pattern into my decoration. Recently I have been transitioning back to making more decorative pieces using layered coloured slips as well as some interpretive landscape work following the positive response to some initial pieces shown for the first time at last year's h.Art. Throughout the year, I run 2hr and 1day workshops as well as 6 week courses for beginners and improvers from my studio in Leintwardine.
