Rich detail and texture, along with tactile forms ...these things inspire me....and so that is what I try to do, in some way, with silver and gold.
Having the freedom to make and confidence in yourself to do it ......I primarily do it for me; and always hope that you will love it too.
I am a designer/ maker, creating etched and oxidised silver jewellery, inspired by nature, and as a direct contrast, patterns found in architecture.
I normally create to exhibit at contemporary craft fairs and galleries and exhibitions.

I am a member of the Worcester Guild contemporary craft.
I went to Hereford College of Art from 2004-6 and did a fantastic foundation art course. I always knew that I wished to work with metal...and so thats what I did. I learned to work with metal, starting with sculptural pieces, and over time it got paired down, to etching; this was the bit that I really loved doing. Jewellery was a natural progression. I work mainly with silver, occasionally with gold and also a little bit with bronze too.
...lots, all fairly local...ie south of the UK.
